Boys' Football Pathway

Delivering a pathway where boys can reach their potential both on and off the pitch.

The Boys’ Football & Education Pathway U7-U16 is designed to help young talented male footballers reach their full potential through football.

Objectives

We deliver our Boys’ Football & Education Pathway for U7-U16 across a tiered system, which includes our Advanced Development Centre, Development Centre, and Technical Centre.

We also provide the opportunity for older boys to continue their education alongside training and fixture programmes in our Football & Education Programme for U16-U19s.

The Advanced Development Centre offers players the chance to train twice a week at a central Norwich venue, with selected players of similar potential.

A comprehensive fixture programme forms a key part of the ADC.

To date, the fixture programme has included matches against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Swansea City, Stoke City and Watford.

Goalkeepers will attend weekly sessions with their respective squads, where they will receive technical coaching and coaching in matchplay scenarios from our goalkeeping staff.

The Development Centre offers players the chance to receive quality technical coaching sessions at venues situated in key areas around Norfolk and North Suffolk.

Sessions are delivered at venues in Norwich, Cromer, Dereham, Gorleston, Lowestoft, and Wymondham.

While the primary focus of the DC is to deliver a technical training programme, there will be select opportunities for players to represent the DC in fixtures.
