Foundation launches new apprentice programme for coaches | Norwich City Community Sports Foundation

Story added: 24th May 2018

Aspiring coaches will be able to gain experience and qualifications from the programme, which starts in August 2018

The Community Sports Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of a new apprentice programme for aspiring coaches in August.

The Coach Apprentice programme, developed in partnership with our training partner Sport Structures, will give a number of 17-20 year olds the chance to immerse themselves in the world of sports coaching.

As well as gaining experience and developing coaching skills in live environments, apprentices will work towards a number of industry-relevant qualifications including the PE & School Sport Level 3 Award.

The apprentices will be enlisted on a one-year programme, which starts this August.

Apprentices will receive a weekly salary in line with the national apprentice wage for 30 hours of work, and will enjoy a host of additional benefits and incentives.

To find out more about enrolling on the apprentice programme, please view the Job Description here, or email [email protected]
