Cerebral Palsy Football Team target FA Disability Cup victory at St George's Park
Norwich City Community Sports Foundation’s Cerebral Palsy Football team return to St George’s Park for the second consecutive year on Sunday, 30th of June for the Cerebral Palsy Cup Final.
Following on from the successes of last year, Norwich City CP enjoyed an invincible season in their 2023/24 National CP League campaign, winning 12 and drawing two, to secure back-to-back league titles.
The Canaries will face Chelsea Foundation in this year’s final after last season’s eventual Cerebral Palsy Cup winners North East Yorkshire CP slipped to third place in the league this time out and finished runners-up to Chelsea Foundation in the National CP Cup.
Despite Norwich securing two victories over The Blues in their two league meetings this season, 2-1 and 7-1 respectively, it was Chelsea Foundation who emerged victorious in the National CP Cup this campaign, winning 3-4 on penalties following a thrilling 3-3 draw in the semi-final.
Darren Hunter’s side will look to go one-better this time around, aiming to complete the league and CP Cup double for the first time in the club’s history.
