EFL U11s Cup entries now open for primary schools across the region
The chance to represent the Canaries at an EFL tournament at Wembley in May is up for grabs for one primary school in Norfolk.
Organised by the English Football League, the Utilita EFL U11 Kids Cup is one of the country’s most prestigious football tournament for primary schools.
To determine who will represent Norwich City FC on the week commencing the 6th of March, in the regional round, the Community Sports Foundation will be holding a series of preliminary tournaments at The Nest in December.
These preliminary tournaments are free and open to 40 local primary schools on a first-come, first-served basis.
Games are 6-a-side, with a maximum of 8, mixed under-11 players in each squad. The tournament is open to Year 5 and Year 6 students only.
All of the preliminary tournaments will take place at The Nest in Horsford, Norwich and will be played on the Norfolk Hire Arena, a 3G surface.
Parents are welcome to come along and support the children. The Nest’s café will be serving hot and cold drinks throughout.
