The PDC tour as-it-happens...
Our Boys Football Development Programme PDC U9-12s are on tour!
Keep up-to-date with all the latest on their three day tour of the West Midlands with our very own dedicated feed…
Day three
13.27 – Travel update
The boys are now on the coach heading back to Norwich, via a brief stop at Extra’s “award-winning” (probably) Cambridge services.
The E.T.A at Carrow Road is still 5pm. See you all soon!
13.06 – World Cup tourno
A top class World Cup themed tournament concludes. Winners were Germany in the junior category, and Egypt in the senior category.
A sign of what’s to come in Russia? Hmm…

10.31 – Early travel update
Current estimated time of arrival of Carrow Road is still on course for 5.00pm – we’ll post updates on this feed if anything changes once the coach sets off later this afternoon.
10.14 – The early bird…
…catches the worm plays even more football! The boys are up bright and early, as they take part in a World Cup themed tournament!

Day two
22.01 – Evening fun at Yarnfield Park
Evening activities include watching England’s victory over Nigeria, a quiz, and – of course – the ever popular tour karaoke.
Coach Ryan, on his first tour, “wows the crowd” (his words) with a rendition of Adele’s “Someone Like You”.
16.41 – It was never going to be a ‘floss’ free tour, was it?
The U9s show how it’s done.
Next up on the tour is evening activities at the hotel…
16.16 – Full-time!
It’s all over at The Pirelli (or next to), after some really competitive fixtures against Burton Albion and Wolves.
Head coach Lewis Plowman’s verdict: “I was impressed with the player’s attitudes. They all performed extremely well.”

13.30 – Stadium tours
10.37 – Arrival at the Pirelli
The tourists have arrived at the Pirelli Stadium. They’ll be playing at Burton Albion’s Community Football Centre this afternoon, directly next to the first team pitch. Not bad, eh?
08.44 – Breakfast
It’s breakfast time for the boys. Some much needed fuel ahead of a day of fixtures against Burton Albion and Wolves.

Day one
20.44 – Laser tag
The first day concludes with an epic game of Laser Quest. Fun had by all, with rumours swirling that the coaches were picked on by the boys.
Boys (and coaches) are knackered, so an early night is on the cards.
17.02 – Hello Yarnfield Park!
One short 3.5 hour cross country coach trip later…

13.30 – Ipswich Town: done!
08.31 – The tour begins…
The boys are off! A few lumps in throats, but it’s mostly excitable chatter as the coach departs Carrow Road.
First up on the tour is a detour to Suffolk, where the boys will play their first fixtures of the tour. The opposition…Ipswich Town!
