All action at The Nest for the Premier League Kicks Cup
On Friday 11th April, The Nest played host to the 2025 Premier League Kicks Cup, with seven representative teams from Club Community Organisations across Eastern England all taking to the turf for a day of competitive tournament football.
There was a whole host of talent out on the pitches, with teams competing in both a Girls only competition and a mixed team tournament.
The final in the Girls tournament saw our very own Norwich City edge past a competitive Luton Town, whilst the mixed boys and girls competition eventually saw Peterborough United prevail, at the expense of Ipswich Town.
There was also a Fair Play award up for grabs for the team in both tournaments that had demonstrated outstanding teamwork and good sporting attitude. It was second award of the day for our Canaries, this time in the mixed competition, whilst Colchester United were the standout stars in the Girls tournament.
There wasn’t only action out on the pitches in 2025’s Premier League Kicks tournament – our teams also filled out the Inspire space for a special DJ & Beatboxing workshop – something which they all thoroughly enjoyed.
Everyone at the Foundation would like to thank the following CCO’s for attending The Nest last Friday – there was some great football and some even better teamwork on display.
