Ability Counts

Mainstream and special school provision for pupils with disabilities

As part of our AVIVA Ability Counts disability programme, we offer many opportunities for children with both learning and physical disabilities during the evenings, weekends and over the school holidays.

Current provision includes:

  • Pan-disability Football sessions (6 – 16 year olds);
  • Pan-disability Multi-Sports sessions (6 – 16 year olds);
  • Specific blind and visually impaired sessions (6 – 16 year olds);
  • Power wheelchair sessions (12 year olds and above)
  • Saturday Match Day Clubs;
  • Half Term Multi-Sport Courses.

We also provide a Centre of Excellence for players with disabilities between the ages of 13 and 17 who excel.

All the sessions are led by FA-qualified staff who have experience working with children with special needs.

For more information regarding how any of your students can get involved in any of our activities within the Ability Counts programme, contact the CSF Disability Officer on 01603 761122.
