Multi-Skills
Developing physical literacy
Through funding and support from the Football League Trust and the Norfolk School Sport Partnerships, we currently provide a half term's funded multi-skills delivery to 240 infant, junior and primary schools every academic half term.
The aims of the sessions are to develop the physical literacy of pupils by addressing and improving their fundamental movement skills, agility, balance and coordination.
If your school is allocated by your Partnership Development Manager, then the coaches will spend an entire half term with your school. The coaches will deliver two curricular and one extra curricular sessions at each school whilst training your staff at the same time.
The school will then be left with a series of lesson plans so that they can continue to deliver a multi-skills provision the following half term.
Virtual Multi-Skills DVD
Your school will have been provided with a copy of CSF's virtual multi-skills competition. In partnership with the SSPs, we have produced an innovative way to increase the levels of sports participation and competition within our schools.
Use the video demonstrations by Darren Huckerby and local pupils to inspire your children to take part in competitive physical activity across four simple multi-skill activities.
