The Sporting Light Appeal aims to raise £50,000 to help CSF continue to deliver vital services for disadvantaged people and those with disabilities.
CSF was announced as Sainsbury’s Queens Road ‘Local Charity Partner’ for 2011-2012 after a vote from customers and staff.
At the time, Store Manager Mike Green revealed the excitement of the Store’s staff to raise money for CSF:
“Our colleagues and customers chose the Community Sports Foundation because their aims and objectives really touched the hearts of many of our colleagues and customers.”
