Watch: An introduction to Fit4it
Fit4it has been designed in conjunction with Norfolk County Council's Public Health and run in association with Children & Young People’s Health Services Norfolk (Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust) and Inspire International. Fit4it is open to those between the ages of 7-12 with a higher than average BMI.

What is BMI?
BMI is short for body mass index. The BMI is a way for seeing if your weight is appropriate for your height. The calculation used is as follows:
Weight (in kg) / Height2 (in cm) = BMI (Body Mass Index)
BMI for children is calculated differently to adults.
You can calculate BMI on the official NHS Choices BMI Healthy Weight Calculator here.
To maintain a healthy weight, you should eat a healthy and balanced diet and partake in a physical activity on a regular basis.
This is where Fit4it can help. We will help your children learn about nutrition, healthy lviing and provide them with the opportunity to take part in a range of fun sports and activities.
